So even though I have postponed the Christmas in July Open House by one week, it has been SO hard to get into that studio and start work. Painting snowmen after the first day of summer is a bit harder than I thought with my garden staring at me through my studio windows! I would rather be out in the garden while some of my favorite things are blooming! Besides, it is the PERFECT day outside ... high of 82, low humidity, and just a slight breeze to whisk the heat off of my shoulders!
