It has been so hard to get back to work in the studio! The weather is SO NICE, and the garden has been calling my name MUCH louder than any paintings! As I am typing this, my little red finch is singing to me outside the window! How can I even begin to think about work?

I am sure Mr Finch is asking me where on earth his food is (perhaps followed by a few expletives!) ... Randy says I am a mean bird mom! I need to get some more seeds out to the sweet little things! I apologize to the bird community for my lapse in proper feeding! With my Open House in the books, I am now ready to pay a bit more attention to the great outdoors!!!

Which reminds me, my FAVORITE GREENHOUSE opens SATURDAY!!! I think that calls for a bagel run, and a great morning of exploring and planning out my pots and planters!!! (Sorry Ran, hope we don't have plans! he -hee!) Les' Deer Ridge Greenhouse is located just south of Elk City off of 225th Street. I love - LoVe - LOVE it!!! I am also eagerly awaiting the Farmers Market downtown!!! May 3rd!!! It is almost here! I thought the long winter would NEVER end! I always pick up all my herb and vegetable plants there! (WOW - more then ever I wish I had a HUGE garden like my Dad's!!!) And of course as the season continues we grab the best fresh produce around! I am shaking with excitement! Or - perhaps I have just had one too many cups of coffee this morning ... Hmm.
